How MedoTag Works

From one mobile number to a connected health profile — with your consent at every step.

1. Verify your mobile number

You sign up with a one-time code sent to your phone. We never ask for your Aadhaar number.

2. Create a minimal profile

Name, date of birth and sex where clinically required — only what's needed to match records to you safely.

3. Link ABHA if you want

ABHA is optional. When you link it, verification runs through the official ABDM workflow. Linking does not automatically give Nevika access to your records.

4. Get your MedoTag card

A digital card is generated instantly. You can download it or request a physical card.

5. Approve every exchange

When records are requested or imported, you see who is asking, why, which record types, the date range and how long access lasts.

What MedoTag is not

Not one central database of everyone's medical records
Not a guarantee that every provider's records are available
Not a government service or an ABDM-certified product (sandbox application in review)
